During one of my sister’s makeup declutters, she gave me Tula Skincare’s Glow + Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. Although it’s on the pricey side, it is 10 grams. So you’ll have it for forever. The cooling formula does take a bit of getting used to and it reminds me a little of Vicks VapoRub Ointment. Because it leaves a white cast, you’ll have to blend it in around your eyelids and under your eyes after applying it. It does work though and minimizes signs of aging and tiredness around the eyes. Here is the purchasing information for it: Tula Skincare’s Glow + Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm, 10 g, $38 at Walmart.

Red is usually my least favorite colored lipstick, mainly due to its messiness. Moreover, most of the red lipsticks available are either too warm or cool-toned for my fair complexion. However, Clinique gets it right with their Chubby Stick Intense, Chunkiest Chili. 0.10 oz. It’s a gorgeous rusty brown orange red with a glimmery finish. I find the Chubby Stick Intense colors to be more cost-effective than the regular Chubby Stick ones, being that they’re more pigmented. So you don’t need to use as many swipes. The only drawbacks are that some of the harder-to-find shades are kind of expensive, the formulation is slightly chalky, and they smell a tad funny. Its such a wonderful, versatile color that I love to mix with other products in my lip collection. Unfortunately, its unavailable everywhere. Hopefully, thatll change in the future.

The great thing about Roen Beauty’s Kiss My Liquid Lip Balm is that it can be used on its own, which is wonderful, especially if you’re in a hurry and need to get out the door quickly or it can be layered on top of your favorite lipstick, lip balm, or lip gloss. The color I have is Charlie, which is a gorgeous pinky brown nude. It’s very conditioning on the lips. It doesn’t feel heavy, sticky, and gloppy like most lip glosses do. This is easily one of the most beautiful lip products that you’ll ever wear on your lips. The formulation has a subtle shimmer. Although it has a peppermint scent, it doesn’t bother me. I usually don’t get hung up on packaging, but it’s magnificent here. It’s a clear, elegant, and sleek plastic tube with a thick silver band around the top and applicator and the brand Roen is etched in white capital letters in Modern font/typeface. I also love the doe-foot applicator. It feels soft on the lips and it provides precise application of the product. The only thing I can’t stand is the price that it usually goes for, which is $26—almost $30. I think that’s ridiculous and wasteful for makeup, especially a lip product that you’ll only use every once in a while, maybe even less if you have lots of lipsticks, like I do, in your collection. Fortunately, it can be found at a much more accessible price here: Roen Beauty’s Kiss My Liquid Lip Balm, Charlie, $12.80 at Mercari.
